Aaron Chatelain is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and has toured around the south playing in comedy clubs from Austin to Biloxi for several years, including recent stops at the Baton Rouge Funnybone. His charasmatic personality delivers comedy that has been described by fans as witty, origional, and fun. He is an entertainer not to be missed!

Above Ground Comedy is proud to announce our weekly show is raising money for Disabled American Veterans (DAV) through our November 11th show on Veterans Day. In addition, our venue, the Station has graciously agreed to match the funds we raise. We’d like to invite any other businesses to join us in supporting this worthy organization.

The DAV’s Voluntary Services Program operates a comprehensive network of volunteers who provide veterans free rides to and from VA medical facilities and improve care and morale for sick and disabled veterans. They also represent veterans and their dependents with claims for benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense.

The DAV’s 1.2 million members provide grassroots advocacy and services in communities nationwide educating lawmakers and the public about important issues to supporting services and legislation to help disabled veterans.

Through Veterans Day, all members of the armed services will get in free with military ID.

Above Ground Comedy hosts a stand-up open mic with Headliner weekly at the Station (4608 Bennington Ave.) on Wednesday nights, doors open at 8:00pm. Admission is $5. $3 with College ID. Audience members who arrive before 8pm will get in free.

Open Mic Comics should sign-up at the door no later than 7:30pm.
Everyone benefits from great drink specials and comedic entertainment from their favorite local amateur and traveling professional comics. Performers get in free and should arrive early as acts are limited.
