Hey Everybody,

Welcome to our website!  My name is Cameron “Cam” Brexler, and I am the founder and host of Above Ground Comedy at Station Sports Bar in Baton Rouge, Louisiana every Wednesday night from 8:30pm-10:30pm.   Since August 26, 2009, thanks to several close friends who shared my vision, we have been able to integrate amateur comics with professionals to help them learn the biz and share their sense of humor with the capital city.

Whether we are raising money for charity or simply entertaining for the sake of laughter, our focus is the audience and giving you our best.  If you are not happy with the comics, then take delight in the 2 for 1 mixed drink specials, cool door prizes, and live rock music immediately following!

Every show is Cover FREE before 8:30pm, then just $4.99 +$.01.

Anyone 18 years + is eligible to perform up to 5 minute act.  Simply sign up no later than 8:00PM at Station entrance on day of event, email Cameron@AboveGroundComedy.com , or message “AboveGroundComedy” on Facebook stating your interest in advance.  We will reply a.s.a.p. and the line-up will be announced shortly before start of the show.

Also, this event is a great way to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions!  Let us know if you have a lot of people coming and we will make the best accomodations possible for you!
