Cameron Brexler
In August 2009, LSU grad, Cameron Brexler, founded Above Ground Comedy, a LIVE comedy entertainment planning service. Inspired after touring famous US comedy clubs and dive bars in Los Angeles, Denver, Houston, and New York, Brexler (a stand up comedian, himself) envisioned sharing his excitement for LIVE comedy with audiences in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he lived for the previous decade. With the help of friend and Red Shtick Magazine publisher, Jeremy White, Brexler’s dream soon became reality after meeting with Station Sports Bar & Grill owner, Robert Graham. Now adults of all ages and backgrounds flock to the Station every Wednesday evening for Bud Light Comedy Night (formerly known as Fleur de Laughs) to see their favorite comedians (from NBC, Comedy Central, Showtime, and HBO, to name a few) and rising stars while enjoying great fun, food, music, and incredible drink specials. Above Ground Comedy has also produced successful shows for family reunions, sports banquets, and fundraising benefits.
